Jeremy and I are excited to announce that we have been matched with our children! Today, we officially accepted the referral of a sibling group of three from Ethiopia. Yes, THREE! We have 2 daughters and a son! We can't post photos via internet until we pass court in Ethiopia (in a few months), but we can show you photos in person (if you are nearby)! Of course, I'm biased, but they're absolutely ADORABLE! All three have beautiful eyes and smiles!
Here's a bit about each of our children:
Hirut is the eldest girl at 8.5 years old. She is described as friendly and energetic. Hirut likes school, drawing, animals, and playing hide-and-seek. Her favorite school subjects are math and English.
Helen, also a girl, is the middle child and is 5.5 years old. She is described as very affectionate. Helen likes to color, draw, run, and talk. She asks a lot of questions.
Binyam is our little boy. He is 2.5 years old. He is described as a very sweet, loving, and calm boy. Binyam is very shy. He loves to run.
As you can imagine, we are EXCITED beyond belief. We don't yet know when we will travel to Ethiopia to pick them up, but our best guess is August or September (if everything goes smoothly!). We will keep you updated here of any new happenings!
